Siikakoski, the central fishing destination of the Langinkoski fork is located 3 km upstream from the mouth of the river. With Kokonkoski and Hinttulankoski it forms over 1 km long stretch of whitewater. The fishing is mainly centered at Siikakoski for its accessibility. Those preferring peace and quiet head on to Kokonkoski. There they can fish in peace and the rapids are thick with hot spots. Especially the majority of sea trout is caught in this area.

In the spring and the early summer the river is stocked with catch sized trout and rainbow trout. The stocking ends as the salmon run begins in the midsummer. The hottest salmon season is in August - September when the majority of the annual catch is taken.
